December /Jan homework

Next meeting on 4th December is the Christmas Party. Please bring a short printed quote or piece of writing - small enough to be fixed to a Christmas bauble, a wrapped pre-loved book to exchange, a hat decorated with a literary theme, your food contribution and a Christmassy/seasonal literary contribution - this can be a piece of writing, rewritten carol, riddle, short story or poem or even a favourite piece by someone else.

The January meeting will be on Wednesday 8th January - homework is to write a short story (500-1000) words or poem or short play/scene taking a minor character from a well known book/play or TV/Film and giving them their own story with them now as a main character. Anyone who missed the workshop and who wants the handout can email Helen and she will email it out to you!
